Tracking down the infamous Los Santos Slasher in GTA Online offers players one of the most engaging murder mystery treasure hunts in the game. Uncovering all five hidden clues scattered across San Andreas allows players to confront the serial killer, unlock the exclusive Navy Revolver, and earn substantial cash rewards. Understanding the precise locations and mechanics behind each clue ensures a smooth investigation through the countryside.

Locating the Four Fixed Clues

The first four evidence pieces appear at fixed coordinates across the map and can be examined in any order. Players must locate a chilling graffiti message reading "Can you find me?" in Great Chaparral, a bloody machete embedded in a barn wall at Grapeseed, a severed hand near Sandy Shores, and a bloody handprint on a door in Paleto Bay. Approaching each object triggers an interaction prompt that logs the clue toward your overall progress.

Finding the Fifth Random Van Location

Unlike the fixed evidence, the fifth clue requires locating the killer's black van, which spawns randomly at one of five distinct locations. The vehicle can be found parked near the railway bridge in Grapeseed, under the highway bridge in Sandy Shores, behind a silo at the factory, in the swampy waters near Lago Zancudo, or tucked between trees in Raton Canyon. Players can easily identify the van by looking for its open rear doors, visible bloodstains, and trash bags loaded in the back.

Confronting the Los Santos Slasher

Once all five clues are inspected, the serial killer sends a threatening text message to warn the player. To trigger the ambush, head to Blaine County between the hours of 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM. Standing in an open area like the Sandy Shores Airfield runway provides a clear line of sight to quickly eliminate the attacker when he spawns. Defeating him awards the Navy Revolver alongside a $50,000 cash bonus.

Completing the Weapon Challenge and Rewards

Acquiring the Navy Revolver opens up the weapon challenge, which requires securing 50 kills on any targets using the new sidearm. Completing this objective credits your Maze Bank account with an additional $200,000 in GTA Online cash. Players with linked Social Club accounts will also unlock the special Lowry's Revolver for use in Red Dead Online.
